8,000 fresh soldiers don graduate to fight bandits , wetin this mean for us?

Army Chief Shaibu don graduate over 8,000 new soldiers from Depot Osogbo on Saturday. Dem say these ones go help fight terrorism, banditry and kidnapping across the country. Na part of President Tinubu directive to recruit 28,000 extra personnel for the Army.

These recruits don undergo proper training for physical endurance and tactical competence. Shaibu say dem dey join at critical period when troops dey active for multiple operations. But I hope this one no be like the usual government promise wey end up as another story.

For us wey dey suffer kidnapping and bandit attacks for our villages, we just dey pray these 8,000 fit make difference. Abi na still the same old story we go hear?
