NATOP and Lagos State dey cook something for tourism, abeg make we talk am

So NATOP don shift their 10th AGM from Enugu to Lagos, and e get reason. Bolaji Mustapha, the president, talk say na because Lagos State dey show them strong support for tourism matters. The meeting go hold for Lagos with theme 'Unlocking Nigeria's Tourism Potential' and dem go even open new secretariat for Opebi, Ikeja on July 8.

This partnership don already yield something. Last year for World Tourism Day, dem take tour of Tarkwa Bay Beach, meet the local operators there, hear their wahala, and even settle some of their problems. The locals dey testify say things don better for them, more visitors dey come. Lagos State also help Nigeria regain visibility for World Travel Market for London wey we don miss for years.

For we wey dey suffer for Lagos traffic and wahala every day, this kind news fit make us remember say our country get many things we no dey value. If dem fit market our beaches and culture well, maybe e go create jobs for our pikin dem. I just dey wonder how many of us don ever step foot inside Tarkwa Bay.
