Pupils don dey kidnapped for Oyo, teachers dey strike, Tinubu send 1,000 forest guards

Na wa o. As I dey read this morning news my heart just cut. Dem don abduct pupils and teachers from three schools for Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. Community Grammar School, Baptist Nursery and Primary School, and L.A. Primary School. Small children and their teachers just dey go school like normal day, now nobody know where dem dey.

President Tinubu don approve recruitment of 1,000 forest guards for Oyo State and order special security team to go rescue them. But the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, don tell all public school teachers for Oyo to start indefinite strike from June 1, 2026. Dem say dem no go teach until government take action. I understand dem o. Which teacher go put head for classroom when dem know dem fit carry them go bush anytime?

Federal Government delegation also visit the communities on Sunday. Dem promise to tell President about request for military base there. But see, we don tire for this kind thing. Our children suppose dey safe for school, not dey become ransom material. This country sef.
