Trump Lied About Ending Christian Killings In Nigeria – CAN Fires Back

Donald Trump claimed last Friday that US military action ended the killing of Christians in Nigeria. But Northern CAN chairman Rev. Joseph Hayab said bluntly: “The right people to say whether Trump’s intervention has made a difference are the victims themselves, not Trump.” He said Nigerians are still being killed and abducted every day.

Archbishop Osazee William also said there is no evidence that the US intervention achieved what Trump claimed. He said the so-called military action fell short and that people are still held captive and communities under attack. So who is Trump trying to fool with this propaganda?

Instead of making political claims, CAN is asking the US to provide real support that ends the killings, not just empty statements. So I ask you: if you are a victim of banditry or know someone who was attacked recently, has anything changed for you?
