37 children still missing after Borno exam hall abduction, parents dey cry

My heart just dey pain me for these Borno children o. Imagine writing your NECO exam on Monday morning, around 9am, and bandits come attack Government Day Secondary School in Lassa, Askira Uba LGA. They killed two teachers and abducted many students. Now the parents say 37 names don register as missing.

One father, Ibrahim Yohanna, said his 16-year-old daughter was taken. Another parent, Birtus Joshua, said his daughter Lucy Emmanuel in SSS2 was in class when the terrorists came. He said since yesterday they have not been able to sleep. The government opened a register for parents to report missing children and the Commissioner of Education, Lawan Wakilbe, is there to assess the situation.

Some names I saw: Victoria Waziri, Destiny Silas, Sandra Sunday, Raju Wadzani, Godiva Margirmari, Kwoji Yohanna, Martha Wajau, Samuel Emmanuel, Maryarm Abdulaziz. 37 families just waiting. This thing is too much for our country.
