So the government finally admits what every market woman in Lagos already knew: three out of four Nigerian children cannot read a simple sentence by age 10. But who is really to blame , the teachers who haven't been paid in months, the parents who can't afford books, or the leaders who keep cutting education budgets? If your own child couldn't read at 10, would you still trust this system?
