See this rain for Lagos, my goods don suffer

This morning I wake up at 4am, I pack my tomatoes and pepper for market. Before I reach Mile 12, the rain come down like God opening heaven. My whole stall dey under water. I lose half of my stock for today. Chai.

My apprentice say make I increase price to cover my loss. But who go buy? Everybody dey suffer. The woman wey buy from me every week, she come with her small money, she dey cry say school fees don finish her. I just give her the pepper free. Na so life be.
