My sister bought fuel at ₦900 today and I almost cried

My younger sister called me this morning from Mushin, she said she bought petrol at ₦900 per litre from a black market seller. I asked her why she didn't just go to the filling station, she said the queue is from 5am and she has to get to work.

I am sitting here in Lekki with my generator running and I am calculating how much we spend just to breathe in this country. The analyst on the news said price is not easing fast. Fast ke? It is not easing at all.

How are we surviving this thing genuinely? I am not even asking for cheap fuel, I just want to be able to plan my month without adjusting my budget every week.
