I caught my mother stealing from my savings since I was 15

I opened a savings account when I was 15, worked small gigs after school, saved every kobo. By 18 I had almost ₦200k. I wanted to use it for school.

Then I needed money for something urgent and went to withdraw. The balance was ₦12,000. My mother had been using my ATM card for years. She said she thought it was her account. But she knew. She just thought I wouldn't notice.

I never confronted her properly. I just stopped saving at home. Now I have my own place in Lekki and she asks why I don't visit much. She knows why. God forgive me but some wounds don't heal.
