Osun election already bloody and police IGP Egbetokun don enter matter

APC and Accord Party campaign councils don start throwing accusations at each other over political killings in Osun State, and the IGP Kayode Egbetokun don visit the state today. The APC council, through Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, is calling for arrest of suspects like Olalekan Oyeyemi and Nurudeen Wakili who police already declare wanted for killing APC members. They also want investigation into Senate Minority Leader Lere Oyewumi for alleged involvement in murders of Saheed Oyegunju and Remi Abass.

But the Imole Campaign Council for Accord Party, through Pelumi Olajengbesi, fire back. They say unresolved killings of Accord members need equal investigation, and they dey demand redeployment of Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Gotan. They claim a new CP wey go be neutral is needed before the August 15 election. They even mention APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, Wole Oke, and Remi Omowaiye over killings of Accord members.

So which side get clean hands for this matter? Because if both parties know suspects and police don declare them wanted, why nobody don arrest anybody yet? Who really dey protect the killers?
