Karl Toriola says the tariff hike wasn't about profit but survival, claiming MTN couldn't even pay monthly bills before the increase. He insists the new rates allowed them to pump nearly ₦1 trillion into network upgrades this year. If their mismanagement and operational failures forced us to pay more, shouldn't we demand better service before they get another naira?
