Atiku just exposed the missing 2% of our GDP and nobody is talking
4 months ago
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has asked President Tinubu to tell Nigerians who stole the two percent of our GDP that the IMF says was omitted from recent budgets. This is not small money o. Two percent of Nigeria's GDP is billions of naira that somebody just decided to spend without putting it in the budget.
Atiku said it clearly: money does not disappear from a national budget. Somebody authorised it, somebody approved it, somebody spent it, and somebody benefited from it. The Constitution says no money shall be withdrawn from the Consolidated Revenue Fund except through the National Assembly. So who broke the law? We deserve an answer before this administration talks about transparency again.
