N1 billion budget for a council that doesn't exist? Kwankwasiyya demands answers

Kwankwasiyya Movement don come out strong o. Habibu Sale Mohammed, their spokesperson, release statement from Kano on Saturday say dem want full investigation into this PFIPC matter. Dem say more than N1 billion was allocated for this council in 2026 budget but Presidency claim the council never exist.

If the council no dey, how e enter budget? Who approve am? Which ministry process the papers? The movement say this no be about one person again, na about how government dey work. Dem quote say "the controversy is no longer about one person. It is about the credibility of public institutions."

President Tinubu talk say e go reform government and ensure transparency. Now this PFIPC thing dey test that promise. If dem no give clear answer, wetin remain for public confidence? Na who go answer for this N1 billion wey never see light?
