South Africa has flatly refused to compensate Nigerians who abandoned their businesses during the anti-migrant attacks, saying if your property wasn't legally registered, it doesn't count. Meanwhile, our diplomats are talking about seeking compensation while their officials tell us to just sell our assets on the open market instead. When a country tells you to "sell it yourself" after you fled for your life, who is really in the wrong here?
