National Assembly Sent Official Letters to a 'Fake' Agency the Presidency Says Doesn't Exist

So the Senate and House of Representatives were exchanging official correspondence with a "Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council" that the Presidency now claims is completely fictitious, even inviting its self-appointed director to London and Morocco for study programmes. But the Chief of Staff's office says they knew nothing about this agency that somehow got over N1.3 billion captured in the 2026 budget and opened a CBN account. If federal lawmakers were dealing with this agency, how does nobody in government take responsibility for what was clearly happening under their watch?
