N1.3 billion sham agency inside Aso Rock and nobody is talking

Festus Adedayo dropped an article yesterday that should make every Nigerian angry. This Adeniyi Adeyemi guy who allegedly appointed himself DG of Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council and Presidential Economic Advisory Council managed to get N1.3 billion allocated in the 2026 budget for a sham agency. He was holding meetings with EFCC, National Assembly, foreign diplomats, operating CBN accounts, and even had offices inside the Federal Secretariat.

An authorization letter signed by Mimi Abu on August 7, 2025 granted recruitment waiver for 300 staff to this controversial agency. Meanwhile IMF Resident Representative Christian Ebeke just said Tinubu government's public spending worth about 2% of GDP was not recorded in recent official budgets. So we have unaccounted billions while this man is running a parallel government inside Aso Rock.
