Umahi drops threat: 'We will Asiwaju you' — Obidients better watch their mouth

Works Minister Dave Umahi has issued a direct warning to members of the Obidient Movement, saying they are trying to undermine President Tinubu's achievements and he is not going to keep quiet. Speaking in Lagos, Umahi said something that has got people talking: "They tackle us, we tackle them, they Obidient us, we Tinubu them, we Asiwaju them."

This man did not hold back at all. He even brought Peter Obi into it, saying people keep talking about the $50 million Obi left in Anambra but forgetting the contractors the state was owing. According to Umahi, once you factor in those debts, everything was in the negative. He quoted the Bible parable of the talents to make his point — you cannot just be saving money when people are hungry and there is no industry.

So here is the question: Is Umahi right that the Obidient Movement is just noise without substance, or is this another case of APC ministers deflecting from real issues? Because the way he said "we will Asiwaju you" has me wondering what exactly that means in practice.
