Jim Iyke finally said what we all think about school na scam
4 months ago
I saw the interview where Jim Iyke said there's some truth to 'school na scam' and I had to pause my work. See my brother, this man has been in the game long enough to know what he is talking about.
I dropped out of polytechnic in my second year. My father was mad, my mother cried. But the same year I left, I made more money selling phone accessories in Onitsha than my classmates who graduated will see in their first three years working. The system is designed to produce employees, not owners. Jim Iyke said it himself, the problem is not education, it is the kind of education we are chasing.
I am not saying burn your certificate. I am saying ask yourself: is this degree going to feed me, or am I just collecting papers to impress people at family gatherings? The market does not care about your GPA. It cares about what you can solve. What can you solve today that someone will pay for?
