Tinubu orders ICPC to investigate fake agency scandal

President Bola Tinubu don finally break silence on the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council wey one Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew claim to be Director-General of. The man was parading himself as a presidential appointee and even had allocation in the 2026 budget and held government events.

Tinubu direct the ICPC to investigate everything within 30 days. According to Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, the federal government never establish any office like that. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff, also disown the man completely. Tinubu say the integrity of the presidency must be protected against impersonation and forgery.

This one na serious embarrassment for the system. How can somebody create a fake agency, get budget allocation, and hold official events without anybody noticing until now? The question is who inside the government helped this man to operate for so long.
