The Central Bank of Nigeria don release statement today saying the standard ₦100 note remains legal tender. Hakama Sidi-Ali, the Acting Director of Corporate Communications, say some traders and stakeholders dey reject the note because of rumors say the old design don expire. She talk say the confusion start when dem release the commemorative ₦100 note for Nigeria centennial, but that one no replace the standard note.
