Senator Adams Oshiomhole is calling on the government to take the profits of South African companies like IBTC and use them to compensate Nigerians attacked in South Africa, after a South African minister reportedly rejected compensation payments. This is the kind of bold talk Nigerians love to hear, but we all know how these things end , with a lot of noise and zero action. So the real question is: will Nigeria finally stop being the continent's doormat, or are we just going to keep collecting empty threats?
