So Bwala is telling us that a Nigerian earning £2,600 in the UK is worse off than someone on ₦60,000 in Nigeria. If that's true, then all the japa hype is just a glorified poverty transfer , you're leaving one struggle for another. Is the real wealth just staying in Nigeria while we chase foreign coins that buy nothing back home?
