🔰SergeantCommunity Chairman Arrested for Flogging Critic: Who Really Has Power in Your Community?
A
So the Emevor community chairman and his boys are in police net after they allegedly flogged a man for speaking out in the WhatsApp group. The man said the chairman was negotiating with Fulani herdsmen behind everyone's back, taking compensation for destroyed farms instead of protecting the community. The chairman's camp says it was all peace-building, not collaboration. But here's what I want to know: in your community, can the chairman and his vigilante just grab anyone who talks and beat them in public, or is there still room to question authority without getting flogged?
