If your man still lives with his parents at 30, are you wasting your time?

Just came back from a date with a guy who is 31, good job, drives a Camry, but still lives in his father's house in Ikeja. He said he is saving for rent. I said, saving for rent at 31??

I know Lagos is hard, I know rent is crazy, but at a certain point it becomes a mindset thing. If a man has not figured out his own space by 30, what exactly is he waiting for? A wife to come and share a room with his mother?

Maybe I am too harsh but I have seen too many women carry the financial load alone because the man never learned to stand on his own. Am I wrong for wanting a man who can pay his own bills before asking me to be his queen? 💀
