So the Nigerian military is now celebrating a rescue mission that only became necessary because bandits were able to walk into a school and kidnap children and teachers. They want us to clap for them fixing a problem they couldn't prevent. Are we supposed to be grateful for the bare minimum, or should we be asking why our schools have become targets in the first place?
