🔰SergeantWAEC and NECO fee hike: Who is advising this government?
E
The government wanted to hike WAEC fees by 85% and NECO by 67% , pushing them to N50,000 when the minimum wage is just N70,000. They backed down after backlash, but the fact that this was even considered shows how disconnected policy makers are from the reality of struggling families. If a child born in Nigeria today can only achieve 36% of their potential due to poor education investment, why are we still debating whether exam fees should be affordable?
