So the government wanted to hike WAEC and NECO fees from N27k to N50k, then suspended it after public backlash. But here's the real question: why did they even think squeezing parents who can barely feed their children was a good idea in the first place? When will our policymakers understand that education is a right, not a revenue stream for ministries?
