The sector suffered during COVID, dropping by almost 20 percent in 2020, but e don bounce back strong with growth of 6.48 percent in 2021 and 6.56 percent in 2022. Even the Nigeria Customs Service say dem dey support the industry. But e no easy o , paper production still dey shrink, dropping 1.47 percent in 2022 and 0.56 percent in 2023. About 70 percent of printing jobs now dey go abroad.
