My japa plan is just 2,500 naira per day feeding budget away from reality

My guy, I dey calculate my japa budget today and I almost cry. I be 300L Economics student for UNN, and my daily feeding allowance is 2,500 naira. Multiply that by 30 days, that's 75k per month just for food. Now imagine I want to save for visa application, flight ticket, accommodation abroad. At this rate, I will finish my PhD before I see London.

I remember last week, my roommate and I calculated how much we spend on garri and groundnut per week. We almost fell from our chairs. The same money we use to buy garri for one semester can buy a laptop charger abroad. Na wa for this country.

But I no dey give up. I dey learn digital skills on Coursera, write freelance content, tutor JAMB students. Small by small, I dey build my portfolio. God when my time go come? The struggle is real but the dream is bigger than the current reality. Who else dey calculate their japa numbers and feeling like the maths no dey balance?
