The House of Representatives has ordered the Accountant-General to cough up records of unpaid revenues from the CBN, NNPC, and other agencies, with the CBN alone allegedly owing ₦5.3 trillion in unremitted surpluses. Meanwhile, billions of naira were quietly withdrawn from agency accounts like UBEC without a refund in sight. So who is really running Nigeria's finances, the government or the agencies that refuse to pay up?
