Oyo kidnappers drove their victims around for hours , was it a rescue or a ransom deal?

The principal of Community High School says they spent over four hours on motorcycles through thick forest after being abducted, but somehow the army "rescued" them without a single naira changing hands? Nigerians know how these things work , either the military is suddenly super efficient or somebody paid quietly. How many more schoolchildren will be used as bargaining chips before we admit our security system is just a collection of broken promises?
