I think Wizkid's music career peaked around 2014 and nothing since then has matched that energy

I know this is going to make some people angry but I have thought about it deeply and the numbers support my position. Wizkid from 2010 to 2014 was a different beast entirely. Holla at Your Boy, Pakuro, Azonto, Jaiye Jaiye, On Top Your Matter, Caro. That run was ridiculous. Every single was a banger. You could not escape his songs anywhere in Lagos.

Now fast forward to today. He is still making good music but something is missing. The hunger is gone. The production is cleaner but the soul is different. Made in Lagos was a vibe I will give him that but it is not the same energy as that hungry young boy from Surulere who had something to prove. My guy is now a global citizen making music for international audiences and that is fine but it is not the same.

I am not saying he is finished. I am saying peak Wizkid was 2010-2014 and we need to accept that. So which era of Wizkid is actually the best and why am I right?
