The government says it brought back nearly 1,500 people in five batches, but that number is a drop in the ocean compared to how many Nigerians still live and work there. We keep hearing about evacuations, yet the real question nobody is asking is why our people keep going back to a place where they aren't safe. Is it desperation for a better life, or are we failing to create opportunities here that make staying home the obvious choice?
