VP Shettima is out here boasting that by 2050, Nigeria will surpass the US as the third most populous country, and by the end of the century, we'll be number one. He says numbers count, and wherever Nigeria goes, Africa follows. But while he's counting heads, are we counting empty stomachs? Can you be the biggest nation on earth when you can't even guarantee food on the table for the people you already have?
