Nobody should be surprised when filling stations start selling fuel above N1,300 in the next few days. Dangote Refinery has paused gantry loading and private depots in Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt, and Calabar have already pushed petrol to between N1,200 and N1,230 per litre. If the refinery can halt operations without warning, what guarantee do Nigerians have that the pump price won't keep climbing every week?
