Adewole Adebayo makes a solid point that most people are dodging , if we accept that a president can misuse federal police without abolishing the presidency, why are we singling out governors as the only ones who might abuse state police? The real question isn't whether state police will be perfect, but whether we're willing to fix our broken federal structure or just keep pretending one police force can handle 36 states with completely different security challenges.
