MRS filling stations shut down as fuel price hits N1,220 per litre

MRS filling stations for Abuja don close since Thursday because dem no get fuel supply from Lagos. The managers wey talk to Daily Post say dem no see any truck since Thursday.

Billy Gillis-Harry, the National President of PETROAN, say the shutdown dey because of dollarisation of downstream sector. Dangote Refinery don start to sell fuel in dollars again, and the naira-for-crude deal with government don stop.

Depot price don rise to N1,225 per litre, and retail price dey between N1,155 and N1,220 for Abuja. NNPC outlets still dey sell at N1,155 but no be everybody get access. This kain thing go just make transport cost go up again. Abeg who still dey survive for this country?
