So a ministry created to handle livestock development is dropping N140 million on emir palaces and mosques instead of cattle ranches or grazing reserves. This is the same government that keeps talking about diversifying the economy and ending farmer-herder clashes. Are we really supposed to believe this is about development, or is it just another way to share constituency pork while the real problems fester? How long will Nigerians keep accepting budgets that spend our money on everything except what the ministry is actually meant to do?
