So the Senate just passed a bill to fine anyone preaching, hawking, or even trading inside a commercial vehicle N50,000. They say it's for safety and to stop distractions. But in a country where danfo drivers blast gospel music and passengers sell everything from biscuits to phone chargers during traffic, is this really about safety or just another way to punish poor people trying to survive?
