My neighbour's daughter inherited her father's house. The brothers want to chase her out.

I came back from church this morning and met my neighbour, Mama Tolu, crying at her gate. Her husband died three years ago, left a house in Agege for her and their only daughter. Now the man's brothers have shown up with papers, saying the property belongs to the family, not to a woman.

Gender does not matter. The daughter has the same right as any son. Those brothers can go to court, but they will lose. The law is clear on this one.
