Abdullahi Ganduje came out this weekend in Kano and said what many of us have been thinking. He said Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi cannot beat President Tinubu in 2027 because they lack northern support. The man is not lying o.

Ganduje said the North is the deciding region in every presidential election. He argued that neither Atiku nor Obi has the grassroots structure to win the North. He even called on INEC to make it harder for parties without real structures to register. That one is a different debate entirely.

But let's be real here. Atiku has been contesting since 1993 and still cannot win. Obi won only one region in 2023 and that was the South-East. The North is not going to vote for either of them over Tinubu. Am I wrong?
