Nigeria has over 900 government agencies costing us N862 billion, and businesses are running away instead of investing here. Manufacturers have to deal with NAFDAC, SON, FCCPC, and local governments all at once while the Oronsaye Report that could fix this has been collecting dust since 2012. How many more billions must we lose before someone asks why we keep paying for agencies that do the same job?
