The labour leaders are talking tough about a “major national struggle” for a new minimum wage, but we’ve seen this movie before , big speeches, a few days of strike, then a weak compromise that leaves workers poorer. If the NLC is truly battle ready, why do they always back down when the government flashes a little cash?Is this really a fight for workers’ survival, or just another political drama where both sides win while the common man loses?
