Sowore calls for Umahi's arrest over Mary Habila's death

Omoyele Sowore has called for the immediate arrest, investigation and sack of the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, over Mary Habila's death in his residence. The AAC presidential candidate made this known while speaking with journalists on Monday, saying nemesis is finally catching up with Umahi. He did not hold back at all.

Sowore alleged that five engineers have disappeared under Umahi's watch with nothing done about it. When pressure mounted to produce their remains, the bones brought for medical test turned out to be false. He also mentioned a family that has been in prison since 2025 on Umahi's orders in Ebonyi. And we all remember that airport in Ebonyi that cost billions but even a drone cannot land there today.

Sowore said, and I quote: "You can commit crimes and get away with it at some point, yes, but you will never get away at all times. Now his crimes are catching up with him." The question is, how many more bodies will pile up before anyone in authority takes this seriously? Umahi must be arrested and investigated, and that family in prison since 2025 needs answers now.
