The 2026 budget is 2,790 pages long, plenty of room for fake agencies and solar street lights that will never light a single road. This is not new. In 2016, a lawmaker exposed ₦284 billion in phantom projects and was suspended for his trouble, while the thieves stayed in their seats.When will Nigerians demand that our leaders treat the national budget like a sacred contract instead of a personal ATM?
