My aunty stole my savings for a 'prayer business' that didn't exist

Two years ago, I gave my favorite aunty my savings for a new laptop. I had been saving for months, editing videos for small gigs, putting aside every little money I get. She promised to keep it safe for me until I found the right one.

When I finally needed the money for a big editing contract, she told me she had 'invested' it in a prayer business. A prayer business. She said the woman running it was a prophetess who would multiply the money. I asked her where the money was now. She just looked at me and said the woman disappeared.

I didn't shout. I just walked out. That day I learned that family and money don't mix. Some bonds are worth more than cash, but some bonds are just lessons in disguise.
