Ondo Assembly: 21 Lawmakers Say Governor Is Protecting a Speaker They Already Voted Out

So 21 out of 26 lawmakers have signed to remove the Speaker, but Governor Aiyedatiwa is allegedly calling them to back down. The lawmakers say they don't have a problem with the governor, so why is he meddling in an internal House affair? If there's no hidden agenda, why protect a Speaker they clearly don't want?
