2027: INEC says voter registration is closed and there's nothing you can do about it

INEC just told Nigerians that the voter registration window is permanently shut, claiming they need 75 days to prepare the register before the 2027 elections. They gave a two-week extension after people complained, but now they're saying even that was a stretch because they've been running this exercise for almost a year. So if you didn't register, is it your fault or is the system designed to exclude you on purpose?
