This generation don spoil marriage with all this 'my happiness' talk

I swear as I dey sell tomato for Mile 12 this morning, I hear two young girls dey talk say 'if e no make me happy, I go leave'. My hand just freeze for basket. Na so marriage become like phone contract now?

My own mother tell me say marriage na work, not happiness. You wake up, you cook, you bear, you pray. The happiness dey come after you don suffer together for 20 years. But these children want happiness from day one. If the man no buy bag, e don't love you. If e talk sharp, you dey pack your load go your mother house.

Who tell una say happiness na your right? Happiness na profit wey you dey earn after many years of investment. Na why marriage don scatter like old basket.
