Na so my mother dey test my wife with her 'special' soup

My mother come visit last week from the village. She say she want teach my wife how to cook my favourite soup. But I know her trick.

She go market, buy all the ingredients, come back and start cooking. But she put plenty salt for the pot. She give my wife taste, my wife say e too salty. My mother say 'ah, you no fit cook for my son?' My wife just look at her, carry the pot, add water, add more meat, cook am again small. The soup turn out sweet sweet.

My mother mouth open. She no talk anything finish. My wife just smile and serve everybody. The lesson? These village mothers think we marry their sons but we don learn their own tricks too. My wife don show her say she get sense.
